Between the end of June and the end of July 2025 there were no new Israel-Iran or US-Iran strikes, and the ceasefire held.
Iran never declared war under popular pressure. The next round started when the US and Israel attacked on 28 Feb 2026, and Iran fought back.
As of October 2026 none of the three has happened: no US ground invasion of Iran (only an air and sea war since 28 Feb 2026), no reported destruction of the Dome of the Rock, and no notable new movement to return Jews to Israel. The window runs to mid-2028.
The condition has not been met: despite troop buildups and invasion planning (Mar and Jul 2026), the US has not launched a ground invasion of Iran as of Oct 2026. The campaign has stayed air and naval.
There has been no clear US defeat in Iran yet. Aliyah in Sep 2025-Sep 2026 was about 20,000, with a record North American month in Aug 2026, but there is no broad call from Jewish intellectuals for all Jews to return.
