The US will break up and absorb Canada

Donald Trump will interfere in the Alberta referendum (e.g., claim it was rigged), and it is possible Alberta votes to put secession on the ballot despite polls of only 20-30% support.

Canada cannot win its trade war with the US, and Trump is working to split Canada by encouraging Quebec and Alberta secession.

The US-Canada trade war cannot be resolved because it is really a sovereignty contest between the US and British empires over whether Canada obeys the UK or the US.

There will be no US ground invasion of Canada; as with Greenland, a deal giving the US access will be reached.
